Ms Tlhagale heads the tmtj Consulting Gauteng branch in Johannesburg which focuses on Development Facilitation and Project Management. She has 14 years experience in the Built Environment ranging from experience as a professional Quantity Surveyor being involved in large project like the Cape Town International Departures Terminal.
Furthermore she has experience in Development Facilitation and Project Management after being involved as an Assistant Development Manager for Propnet and Senior Project Manager for the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town respectively. In these projects the experience gained was in project managing large scale mixed use development projects estimated around R1billion.
From September 2005 – September 2010 Ms Tlhagale was involved in the Oversight Project Management role for the 2010 FIFA Local Organizing Committee of South Africa, as the Leader of the Technical Team. Her role was to manage the Technical Team members made out of 5 companies and also to ensure that the entire 10 stadiums that were used during the 2010 FIFA World Cup were designed in line with FIFA design requirements, monitoring of the budget allocated by Government for the construction of the 10 stadia and also monitoring programme to ensure completion of the entire 10 stadium on time for the FIFA World Cup.
The estimated budget for this project was R17 Billion The experience gained in this project was dealing with all three tiers of government, i.e. Local, Provincial and National, furthermore monitoring delivery of local government and dealing with professionals appointed by local
government for the management of the construction of all stadia, and ensuring that the mandate to complete these complicated projects all running at the same time meet the required mandate of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee of South Africa. From September 2010 to date, Ms Tlhagale has been involved in various projects both in the public and private sector.
To mention but a few, her role as Programme Manager in the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Delivery Initiative (ASIDI) project which is building 49 schools in the Eastern Cape Province, Establishment of the Project Management Office (PMO) in the Office of the Premier of Gauteng and the Facilitation of the building of mining houses in Rustenburg for two mining companies.
She chairs Pelonngwe Wellness Property Development Committee. She is very knowledgeable on Property Development Facilitation and advices Pelonngwe management on their renovation of their newly acquired properties.
